Hi Everyone,
Still having the same problems with engine start. i just discovered that every time the engine cranks without starting, i pump the fuel filter press a couple of times and it starts
However, after an one of parking/stationery with engine off, i still have to go through the same procedure to start the engine again.
Please Kindly help!!! |

Fuel/ Air leak, probably running back to the tank, so check all lines for air leaks and corrosion. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

Thanks Andy,
Found a rusted fuel pipe leak... replaced and the car started and worked for only two weeks.. i was driving on the highway yesterday the engine went off, Cranked for a while but i didn't start. Parked for a while (30 Mins) on the road, Tried again and it started drove for about 10km it shutdown again... continued this way till i just home. |

It's still a fuel problem. It's likely that on replacing the corroded pipe you damaged another problem pipe. You need to go through the whole system and if necessary, remove and clean the filter in the tank.
