are the valves on an amazon 4.7 petrol 2000 year hard enough  to run on lpg without using a valve saver additive , thanks in advance

i do not have any experience of lpg, but i do know for sure that victor aiken has had 2 amazons in his workshop with burnt valves, both of them were run on lpg.

thanks for that mines had a £2900 engine rebuild and i found a product XADO EX120 a hardener for valves that run on LPG , giving that a go.

No they are not. They need the Valve Saver fluid.
