The rev counter on my amazon has stopped working can anyone give me an indication where to start to try and solve the problem

It could be anything, but without more info from you how can we help, also a intro would be a start, although it seems that you've been a member a long time.

Hi Andy I don't know what further information I can give you other than it is a 2004 Amazon and the rev counter has just stopped working. I was hoping someone on the forum might have had the same problem that is why I asked if anyone could give me an indication as to where to start to look for a solution, I did not expect any more than that. I have been a member for 7 years I am not sure if I had posted before but I have looked here A number of times at posts that relate to problems I have had.

OK well a clue as to fuel would help, I'm sure a petrol would probably have a different pickup to a diesel.

Good point. It is a diesel auto VX.

I'm no expert with electrics, but I think the thing is powered from the injection pump, hope that helps.
