Hi everyone. I'm not yet a Land Cruiser owner but am looking at buying a used one soon, so have come here to get a bit of information.

I'd like to say: I'm very concerned about the lack of security on the site. No h t t p s? (Spaces included because it thought I was posting a link) Passwords emailed in plain text? These are really basic errors which potentially compromise the data security of everyone on the site and should not be occurring in 2018. They'd be considered bad practice in 2000. Who can I talk to about this?

https signed ssl certificates cost money - the club is free to join.

Provided members are sensible and use a different password here than they use on other sites, there’s nothing to worry about -there’s no PI data stored on the site database.

If you’re uncomfortable about this, then leave the group... you could always join us in our FaceBook group, with it’s https and ultra-high security ... but then, who knows what might happen with your PI data
