Hi guys
On hearing a rattle under the rear end I have found a flexible hose that enters the rear axle to the offside of the diff. The end of the hose that enters the axle is secure but the other end is free There is a small clamp at this end so I’m assuming it has come free from somewhere . Any ideas much appreciated

The hose is the axle breather. Sounds as if the loose end has broken away from it's mounting. Allow an amount for axle flexing and look for the remains of the mounting above the exit point on the axle.
