Hi all,

My first post here - couldn't see a more suitable forum to put this in.

I've been after a LC for a while and hadn't given much thought to a 70 series (mostly 80s and 90s for overlanding) but just come across this, and thought it might actually be a nice way into ownership/greenlaning etc...

Is this worth a punt at £1000? I'm happy to spend a bit making it road worthy and presentable (£3k?).

Thanks in advance all.

It looks ok for a punt, but you need to look underneath at the chassis and other bits, all depends on what mechanical and welding experience you have.

Keep us posted on what happens if you do buy it.
