Hello All, Has anyone ever tackled a turbo replacement on a 2004 120 lc5... it seems I need a new one. stepmotor /actuator is faulty so need to replace whole unit..just wondered if its that hard to do. or is there a thread here, Many Thanks |

I haven't done it myself, so can't really comment, but I do have a 2004 model too, so I may face it myself one day...

... and grip your wallet very tightly. The turbo stepper motor failed on my 2003 LC4 120 at 110k miles. I had this confirmed by a local independent and a not-so-local main dealer. A new OEM turbo unit was £3,000 and fitting, VaT etc meant the final bill was around £4K. Believe me, I looked hard for alternatives but couldn't find anything. |
