thanks Marlot, i had seen the Pedders conversion kit, i had also seen new compressors for around $300 in the U.S. i am taking the car into Toyota this morning to see if they will quickly cast their eye over it to confirm my diagnosis of a failed compressor. if so i will not be going with a genuine toyota comp but an uprated one. thanks for the reply anyhow. i'll let you know how i get on

Hi

I would welcome any advice on this one - Will the LC5 air suspension eventually give trouble on all vehicles? I ask because I'm looking at a 2006 LC5 which has been very well maintained and only 75K miles done and I am just nervous that after buying it I'll be hit with a huge repair bill... I know it's a mystic meg job to predict but what sort of odds would I be looking at?

Thanks for any advice.

I was like you, a bit nervous of the LC5 suspension, but I went ahead and bought one, just last Saturday. 2006: 89K with absolute service history
It's mint all round, and the underneath is spotless, so fingers crossed. Very Happy
