Hello,
I have had an issue where after complete rewire of Ifor Williams trailer ( not LED) and also new female socket on my Toyota Landcruiser LC4 2982 cc 2007 all working perfectlty and rewiring 100% that I found that there was no indicator on the left hand side of the trailer but the buzzing when bulb was inserted. Bulb tested and circuit tested by taking the yellow LH wire and looping over to the RH green and both lights working off the RH indicator. Earth's are perfect in junction box. Tested my vehicle on another horsebox with LED and all worked.
Put another car vehicle on the rewired trailer and all was 100%. Tested the female socket from Yellow to earth LH and had the intermittent voltage although hard to really check as holding the test probes, same for the RH Green to earth.
My assumption at this stage is that the indicator relay is not putting out enough amps to light the bulbs which are 21 W, has anyone come across this and the only way I expect I can identify the relay for the indicator is by listening to the buzzing noise. Any other suggestions would be welcome.
