Hi all.  Newbie to the forum but an LC5 120 owner for a few years now.  Generally I’ve fixed the car when it’s gone wrong but wondered if anyone has ever had a leak (pinhole) in the metal high pressure pipe in the power steering system.  I have a very bad feeling that am going to have to get a complete set from Toyota at a cost of over £400 for some metal and rubber tubing..!!.
It’s the high pressure side so from what I’ve seen it’s unlikely to be fixable any other way.
Just wondered if anyone knew of any good part suppliers that may be able to supply the bits for me?.
Thanks for any pointers.
Neil

I would say that the best option is a Hydraulic service place, look for a Pirtek or similar company.

Great - Thanks Andy.  I since found (when taking it apart ) that’s it’s the low pressure circuit and not the high pressure side.  So I have decided to try and build a flared copper pipe to replace the damaged one. If this failed then it’s either a hydraulic place then or a breakers yard for a replacement pipe.
