Hello.
I've seen quite a bit of discussion and frustration about replacing the OEM SatNav with integrated climate controls. Then I found this android unit that handles the climate controls, replace the entire center console. Anyone with any experience or (informed ) opinion?
androidautoshop . com --- seems I don't have the credibility to post the full link but is the 10.4 Prado 120 replacement...
cheers

I have installed that 10.4" android tesla style unit on my lc5 ,for me the 6 cd changer doesn't work on it .another downside is it takes 30 seconds to boot up . now I can use google map/waze or tom tom go app on the unit ,handfree calling ,usb,,aux in and I installed usb dab+ radio app and reverse cam to it . good sound quality with the integrated amplifier. this unit is really based on px3 rokchip android 4.4 so some apps may not compactable ,installing more apps could slow down the booting up.so far I am happy with the unit. |
