I don't recall ever seeing any references to DMFs on any model fitted with a 1kz-te engine.

Maybe on the 1kd (badged d4d), but even then I've never seen it referred to although they are much less common and get written about less.

I was looking on Roughtraxs website and they were selling conversion kits to get rid of the dmf. Just checked again and it says for the 1kzte engine but possibly only on Hi luxury and surf models.
