Hi All,
i have a 2001 3l colorado lwb and the airbag / seat belt light is on. 3 Weeks ago it would come on after driving 0.4 of mile but now it just stops on once started. When it started you could start the engine and as long as the vehicle did not move it would stay off... Anyone point me in any direction to trace the fault. Thanks in advance

I'd start with the electrical section of the workshop manual, there is a testing procedure for the airbag and seatbelt tensioner system where you can measure resistances at key points to find out where the trouble is.

Possibly the clock spring on the steering wheel, but you need to get codes first.
