I have had my rear inner seals welded, the mechanic was pointing out that the sills have drain holes that need to be cleaned out to stop any build up of water in the cavity. The water leaks in from under the grey plastic trims in your door frame and becomes trapped. It's worth getting under your truck regular and make sure these are clear, while you at it clear the holes in the axle turrets.

Elsewhere I've read that the sunroof drains actually exit into the sills, so if your drain holes are blocked you get water sloshing around inside. Crazy design if true.

Hi Guys
I was looking to buy a LC from a dealer near Birmingham UK.

What put me off was the bungs which are situated in the rear wheel arches (towards the front) were missing. Like this water comming off the rear wheels could get into the sills....
I pointed this out, but the sales man was not  interested, even when I told him it cost him a sale.
Another problem is putting undrseal on top of MUD...

Regards

Paul
