Hi All,
Brain teaser.
In the case of a permanent 4 wheel drive vehicle, in theory in normal mode, I reckon drive could be reduced to one wheel, if the other 3 slip, due to the action of the combined 3 differentials, i.e no forward motion at all. In the case of part-time 4 wheel drive where there is no centre diff you would always have 1 front and 1 rear wheel being driven. True, or is my thinking incorrect?
In the case of a TLc, which of the diffs are locked when that mode is selected?
Opinions please.
