Welcome Blue,
Difficult that one, as you have found out prices for LCs have gone ballistic of late. It's difficult to find any to compare, and most I've seen for sale are rotten, trashed inside and bashed about on all 4 corners, probably doing the school run or thrashed around a farm.
With usual makes of other vehicles you can see loads for sale which gives a good idea what is a fair 'asking' price.
Unloved ones can start at 4/5k. Remember the 2.4s are prone to head cracking, so unless it's been done properly with proof, be wary even if it runs ok now.
I have for some time been trying to ascertain prices for my lj78, and have the same dilemma as you, but as I have the 120, am not in any hurry. I know of a 78 that recently went for in excess of 7K, which was a reduction in price, and did not reflect what had been spent on it, which is always difficult to recover, just an added selling point.
All those cliches of how long is a piece of string, and it's worth as much as someone wants to pay hold good and sorry to say no help with your question. Good luck 🤗

A 70 could be basically a rolling chassis with a perforated rusted to hell body barely attached literally worth scrap value, or it could be a well loved and cared for machine that might have show winning potential in which case anyones guess.
