Good evening all. Newbie alert.  Very Happy
I'm just about to take possession of my father in laws Landcruiser Amazon 1998 4.2 diesel auto. He's owned it from new and wants for nothing and always been looked after by Toyota.
The truck drives perfectly but every single dashboard light is permantly illuminated. He's been fleeced for £250 already by Toyota and they can't find what is wrong . I stress the truck is otherwise operating perfectly.
It's looking like an electrical gremlin which is going to take me an age to find but in was wondering if this is common or someone has experienced it before and can point me in a good place to start. I'm not a mechanic but do all my own servicing and repairs and will tackle anything. (Except a clutch replacement 😂😂)
My thanks in advance
Matty

Just saw your message.
I have the same problem with my Landcruiser 4.5L Petrol Automatic P-Reg (1977)
My garage says it's a relay or something that needs replacing but they can't source the part.
How did you solve the problem of dashboard warning lights staying on?

Back to basics.  If it was me I'd remove the instrument cluster, and double check the earths behind there - make sure water hasn't gotten in and they have a good connection.  Check the resistance between there and a known good earth.
