Hi, When I checked my car 3 days ago I noticed an oil leak due to my sump being corroded from the outside.
Can I handle this on my own since the garage is quite far from us. Need help from you guys. Thank!

No, he says from the outside in, and have heard about it before, something to do with not having any oil leak's, would never happen to a green oval make of car.

Not much chance of finding one in USA, so maybe weld a patch on it, or maybe order new from https://www.amayama.com/en/catalogs/toyota?_s=h

I think some of the 4Runner in the us had same chassis and engine/gearbox as the 90 just with a different body on top?
If it’s just an oil pan to change should be fairly easy job to swap out once you have the right part and a tube of liquid gasket

I'm pretty sure that the diesel versions were never sold in the USA. and it would help if the original poster told us what engine he has.

Yep, you’re quite right…just assumed being in the US would be a 3.4 petrol…I mean gas 😁
