The adapter is part of the tool kit in the tool roll.
If yours is missing it should be easy to get another as I think it is the same on all models of Toyota Landcruiser.
My 200 series one looks exactly the same as my 100 series use to.
Must be loads on the internet. |

Had to crawl under mine, and disconnect the bolts holding complete mechanism onto floor,
then could free off wire/chain, as cover had gone awol |

The adaptor as you call it is not universal to all Land Cruiser 100 and 200 series, the 'adaptor' is actually a key unique to each spare wheel carrier lock assembly, Part Number 519300W011, the adaptor/key is not available separately because it's 'Unique', you have to buy the whole assembly, and it's pricey. All it boils down to is, it's an anti-theft device.
I agree that the anti-theft lock assembly was not fitted in all Land Cruiser sales markets, but it was in the U.K. and I would think most of Europe, as the aluminium wheel were/are very expensive to replace, some markets only had steel wheels hence no lock assembly.
BTW, the 18" aluminium wheels as fitted to the 2003 facelift models (I think) are even more expensive as they are as rare as 'rocking horse poo' _________________ I love my country, but I fear my government. Build Back Better B.S, You will own nothing, but you will be happy. Anti Woke. 🤷♂️ |
