Hello,

After changing valve shims to bring them to spec gap sizes, time belt and water pump, the bloody thing is smoking blue.

I'm ordering a compression test kit of e bay and wanting to get a fuel pump timing tool  as well but can't find it anywhere in the UK (if anyone has a link please pm me or if you have one that you can lend me it's even better 😀)  

I've had the tps adjusted to spec before, done all fluid services etc.

No blocked vents.

Is there anything else I should check ??
