hello,this is my first post ,just joined and wondering if  someone could give me some info on fitting a bonnet protector. i have just bought one and am in the process of fitting it.it looks like it sits proud of the bonnet by a considerable amount  ,is this correct ,the instructions are just in picture form and not the best,it is a 2022 model and any help will be greatly appreciated.many thanks

What brand is the bonnet protector ?

Some (all)? makes do sit proud, ones for a 120 trap leaves etc in the gap. Not good.

hello and thanks for your comments,i have fitted the bonnet protector and it looks ok ,there is a decent clearance but i assume that is the design,regards mick

Agree Mick - if it was a tight or close fit it may rub paintwork with any flex/vibration, but the idea must be to deflect bugs/*beep* up and over the bonnet windshield, not under it or both. Good luck with it anyway.  Regards, John
