Hiya,

I have been asked if there is a Salisbury Plain days out....
Truth is, Alyson and I go out there alone or with a few friends about once a month. Anyway, I digress.

In true british fashion, nuthin for ages then there are two dates for your diary! Embarassed  Confused  Laughing

25th November 2007  and  9th December 2007
-----------------------           ----------------------

1)
25th November  -  Salisbury Plain. Laughing

ELCO have a day out and it will be a good day out too. Usually Offroading in the morning, Pub Meal, more offroading in the afternoon. I have been to a couple of these now and can assure you it will be a good day out, for all degrees of ability.... Laughing

I must point out however that the above is NOT a TLOCuk organised event

The main objective of the day is to meet up with some likeminded TLC owners, however by meeting up on the plain you also have the chance to go and put your vehicle through it's paces around some of the gentle byways (mainly gravel, no damage likely) as well as some of the more challenging tracks (at your own risk!!).

There is no charge for the offroading, except to put a few quid in the organisers beer bucket. There is of course the optional Pub Lunch etc. Cool

2)
9th December 2007- Salisbury Plain and North Dorset/Wiltshire.

If the ELCO event is not your cup of tea or you cannot simply make that day then I will be going out again on the 9th of December for a miriad of Offroading and Green laning on Salisbury Plain, North Dorset, Wiltshire.
There is quiet a high concentration of Green Lanes in this area so prepared to cover a few miles, get muddy and even find the odd water splash or two Laughing

Starting in the morning at 9am at Countess Services on the A303, Amesbury for a quick briefing, we will head off for some offroading. There will be occasional stops as well and for lunch we will find somewhere, in the middle of nowhere, to eat our pack lunches Laughing Or in my case, have a fry up!! Laughing Then off we go again.

Any ability welcome as help will be given. Just need to bring with you some wellies, food, drink etc... There is no charge for the offroading. Time to find out how good your Landcruiser is. Laughing

Anyone up for it?? Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

I went on the last ELCO trip and I think that too much time was spent in the pub at Lunchtime. I went out with Trevor and Alyson last December and it was a good days driving(very wet). I am going to be hard pushed to make december 9th as it is my S/O 40th birthday party the night before, depends on the amount of alcohol I have to force down
cheers
Roy
