Rear Diff Lock - or not ?

2003 Amazon 4.7. the handbook says that I should have a rear diff lock but I don't ? Does anyone know why ? Is this an extra that is not fitted to mine? I do have a centre diff lock.

I think the 4.2 TD's do, the Petrol 4.7's have a kind of traction control so no locking rear diff, i think it use's the ABS system to lock the wheel on the spinning side so giving you drive again, it works ok, but most landcruisers speced for harsh or constant off road use are diesel hence them getting the proper locking diff, also i think the 4.7 traction control can cut engine power via the engine e.c.u , something that can't be done on the oil burner as its basicaly a mechanical fuel system.
