rear diff dont seem 2 engauge wen swiched on

hello i am a new member and have a problem with the rear diff on my landcruiser amazon. when i swich it on the light flashes but dont seem 2 engauge it just keep on flashing can anyone offer any advice.

Yeah, have a search on the prado and colorado sections and look for rear diff lock. There is a problem with these as they basically rot! The Amazon and Colorado ones are actually quite similar. Incompatible, but similar in construction. They get salt on them and simply dissolve away! OR - try reversing back and forth in an arc a few times, it may just be not engaging due to poor line up. - Let's hope!
