I think he's talking about the starting price.

Nope - sure he's not.  I can find references to a limited-edition; but nothing about what spec it is.

There was a special edition called K2, but that is all I know about it.

It's mentioned here http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/car-reviews/car-and-driving/toyota-land-cruiser-colorado-2002511.html

Has a response from the seller.  Sounds like a GS with alloys and white paint.  It doesn't have air con.  Surprised(

Looks exactly the same as the one my daughter/Tommo's missus just bought.

Very basic no frills 90 but with alloys. Ask Tommo if you want to know more about that one.
No aircon and no ABS but not such a bad thing as far less to go wrong, not sure if Claire's has lockers or not.

Nice if it had a rear diff lock, but agree with the rest although it's not the end of the day if it does not  Smile

Yes it is - it's one of the main reasons for choosing a Colorado!

Tough choice now. I like white cars; I like the clean look without the body mouldings; I think it looks cool.  But I really wanted air con.  Don't care so much about ABS!

I think that you find that the K2 was a UK model not an import if memory serves me correctly. So it should have a rear locker. Even the FX, EX has one. It does make a difference. That rear locker makes ALL the difference. That is if it is working.

All academic now as he's sold it offline to one of his mates.  That solves me dilemma of whether or not I should by a K2 because I think it looked so good in white.

So, back to the drawing board...
