Hi all, I was just wondering if the ajustment bolt on the alternator is a right or left hand thread on the 100 series... thanks... brian. |

You prolly don't need it anymore, but, the thread is normal. You tighten the belt by turning clockwise, like tightening a standard bolt. _________________ 2004 HDJ100 AHC Auto 160'km, ex 2000 HDJ100, ex 1997 HZJ80GX Africa edition. |

A Tip
Never ever tighten any belts, there is only one reason why a belt gets loose, and thats because its stretched and WORN OUT.
You are far better to replace the belt for the cost of a belt and that way you know its not going to break at an awkward moment.
