Quick question

I've a LJ70 Trials car, after fitting a snorkel I had to ditch the front washer bottle, so ran the wires from the front bottle to the rear, so that the rear feeds the front.

Came out to the car the other day to finish off the wiring and now neither the washer or wipers is working. Also, there are no lights on the car so when the indicator stalk is turned on the lights used to flash very quickly, but now the indicator just stays on and makes an unusual noise.

Any idea's why the wipers/washers aren't working?

I checked the wiper fuse in the foot well and its fine (changed it anyway)
