Huh.  Adrian Flux were very nice on the phone but the cheapest they could offer me for my '91 HDJ81 with 31" MTs was £650 and that's with 2 years NCB.  I didn't think I still counted as a boy racer ... Confused

Did you use the tlocuk hot line when you called them. The number can be found in the Adrian Flux sticky. They ere the only ones that cover me for all my MODs.

No.  Given I'm still on a 14 day cooling off period with my current insurer I may give that number a call to see if they can do better.  Thanks for that.

I've just switched to RSA via Adrian Flux.  Very helpful on the phone and about 50% off the NFU price.

Very nice on the phone, but promised to call back the following day with a quote - and didn't. Had to chase them, and they sent an email saying they would get back to me - and didn't. Finally spoke to someone who asked me what other quotes I had received, and when I told him he said that they if they came back to me with a quote they probably couldn't match it. I'm certainly not going to waste any more time with them  Sad

OK, I made the mistake of wasting some more time with them.... On three separate occasions I was told by three different advisors that "all our 4x4 policies include off road as standard". One of them even confirmed this in an email to me.

Well, if they would read the policy document from Highway Insurance that they sent me for my Defender, they would find that off road is specifically EXCLUDED!

My advice is that you do not believe anything that their telesales advisors tell you, and that you ask so see the policy details provided by the insurance companies and read them yourself. If I had 'signed up' as they wanted me to during the phone call (quote "is there anything to stop you signing up now?"), I would now be cancelling the insurance and looking for another insurer.

I completed their online survey and explained the problems, but has anyone been back to me........?

Beyond belief!

Waste of time, IMHO

£800 quote, they said my car was too expensive and had too many seats.

I have a clean license, 19 years no claims, I am in my mid 40's

I have a 2005 LC4 with a Safari Snorkel and lattiude freeways winch bumper and a Superwinch EP9000, not too unusual set of mods.

I did tell them I was a member here, European Land Cruisers Owners club and on Pradopoint..

I was surely considering using AF for my insurance, but having read the comments on here, erm... not! Poor service in general, and not at all competitive with respect to their quotes.
