I have been asked by an army buddy to advertise this on the Landcruiser forum.

Sunday December 3rd

Tidworth Bowl on Salisbury Plain.

The RA are organising a charity off-road day at Tidworth Bowl - this is where Top Gear filmed the Jeremy v Challenger tank episode - its in a restricted section of the Plain to which public are not normally allowed.

As well as access to the hills and bumps, there is also a lengthy greenlane section (14km I think).

There will be advice available on the day, plus demonstrations, and a couple of Bowler Nemesis's, plus toilets, food etc

Cost for the day is £40 - plus you can do a night drive as well if you wish.

Please let me know if anyone is interested, so far there are 14 Toyota going on what is essentially a Green Oval day !! Its being featured in LRO magazine........

Cheers

Pete

Hi Kim

It has been postponed - the army now need the area back to train, hoping it can be rearranged for early next year.

Ps

Post some info in the new member section about your car etc.

We have a good handful of folks between Bristol and Newton Abbott, including Cannington and North Petherton.

Cheers
