my import vx ltd is on 122000 miles now so thought  treat it to some new
brake discs £40.00 each from milners
also got some new sliders for the  calipers only took me 2 hrs
so thats the back reconditoned
tonight i took the front wheels off the pads still have alot of life in
them so once worn down iwill change them not so easy as the backs
you have to pull the hub off to unbolt the disc
so i am already to tow the caravan this weekend

just been talking to gearbox specialist about upshift timing on auto box.

He recomended not using overdrive while towing? Aparently tarque convertor locks up in thired gear sooner saving fuel as it dose not jump between gears. i can do a bit of towing and always use overdrive, have'nt noticed any gear change jumping or slippage. He went into great detain about trans and workings and seemed to know what he was talking about. Worth a go next time i tow. nothing ventuerd nothing gained.

Enjoy your caravaning
Mark
