who said they need replacing or is it a rumble you can hear ?
if they are a little worn you can adjust them as they are tapered roller bearings
it is not a difficult job to do but you will need a puller i purchased two for the fronts and brake discs and pads last week a local mechanic fitted them ans did a service for me very cheaply £60 for the work and same for the service but i brought all that was needed for the job
i forget who i dealt with for the discs bearings brakes ect i googled wheel bearings and a site came up who delivered the lot to my home address
i will try to find the site for you and post the website addy _________________ 1999 Amazon Auto VX 4.2 TD Active |

wolf,
could you throw in some commas & periods.
I've been trying to make out what you're saying, but I kind of get lost.
Is this what you meant to say:
It is not a difficult job to do but you will need a puller i purchased, two for the fronts. And brake discs and pads. Last week a local mechanic fitted them and did a service for me very cheaply. £60 for the work and same for the service, but i brought all that was needed for the job.
i forget who i dealt with for the discs, bearings, brakes, ect. I googled "wheel bearings" and a site came up who delivered the lot to my home address. _________________ 2004 HDJ100 AHC Auto 160'km, ex 2000 HDJ100, ex 1997 HZJ80GX Africa edition. |

try milner off road if you can not see what you are looking for on the
web site phone them up and ask
very helpfull ladies & gents on the end of the phone they have more parts in stock ( you can nearly make a whole hilux pickup) than any toyota dealer next day delivery
last week i purchased a full set of discs for 2 of our 100 series at about
£40.00 each we have been useing milners for years they have sent parts out
to us all over the uk when we are working away and saved the day
ie starter motor 80 series middle of cotswolds rad burst 60 series oxford
no dealers had any of these parts in stock

ok ok, i've *beeped* off.
Just trying to keep up to date on this issue. Will need to do it myself one day...
Tomorrow I will repack the second of my front wheel bearings.
I find your postings very informative and helpful. Just this time I had problems reading through it at first. Entirely my problem though. Just asked for your help.
