Is it me being simple or will the Gen 01 sat nav fitted in my 03 100 accept  postcodes ?
Can't for the life of me see how
I've just ordered the 2010 disc, so I don't know if it's just map updates or software as well.

Hi Chris

My 2004 does do Post codes.

Once the map is running, type:

Destination
Address
Town
and at the bottom of the list you have the option to input the code.

and you will find the disc is just a map update (I think) what did you pay for the update ?

Thanks for that reply thats good news, I will have another go at it

The update disc is from this guy http://www.satnavi.com/

Cost is £40, I will post up when it arrives if it is successfull or not, fingers crossed.

Only just had my 03 LC100 last week and when I looked at the disc it's the original 02 one so worth a stab at £40.

Cheers

Chris

Disc arrived today, 2 days from order so bang on time.

Tried it in and it appears to be perfect, still cannot find an option for postcodes though....

Hi, I'm not sure if your 120 keys are the same as I have a 100 - but I bought one of these:

http://www.e bay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Rav4-Yaris-2-button-remote-key-fob-case-blade-TOY43-width-8mm-347-/330646461460?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Safety_Security&hash=item4cfc109c14

keyfob

for the princely sum of £3.60 including delivery - paid £10 to have the blade cut & put my insides in & it works a treat!
You do have to make sure which blade you need though as there are two types.

cheers
Chris

Just took my car to airport valet parking & they have managed to break the new key  Evil or Very Mad
I hope their insurance will cover the cost of an original replacement @ £150!!

Have you managed to get it working on postcodes?
Also did you get version 1 or 2 ? I have a late 2002 with the same model I assume & am interested in up dating it.

Cheers
