A little gremlin has appeared this week in my 98 3.0 TX Prado.  Having to use the lttle red button next to the gearshift to get auto 'box out of park - no problem when it is in Drive, but seems like something has slipped/misaligned.  Should I worry or dash to the garage?
Thanks in advance!...  Smile

Just read the quote about recalls for the rear diff issue - any ideas how this works in the UK with Japanese imports?

That's spooky!  The fuse had blown on the brake lights - I guess there is a safety interlock.

I was wiring in the towbar electrics and I guess I must have shorted something - could splicing into the wires just before the bulb holders cause a problem when I eventually connect a trailer with the added current of another bulb?

Many thanks for your swift solution!
