I have just purchased a Landcruiser in cameroon (west africa) and need some help, i am currently in the UK on leave and want to pick up some parts, the car is left hand drive.

I am unsure of the engine size, on the air intake it a D TURBO 2LT.  the model number is

LJ73LV-MNXW 155F011G 145R151FA

chasis number JT1 VOL J73 09008927

can anyone help with the following

1. what is engine size
2. what age is the car
3.  can anyone recomend a good spares supplier

thanks in advance

I've had a quick look at the link, www.off-road.com/tlc/faq/faq.txt and I think you'd be able trace your numbers through from that.

It looks like you have G145 diffs which is an 8 inch diff with a 4.9 ratio and LSD.
Your gearbox is a R151F and is very similar to a 98 onwards HZJ78/79/105
From the windscreen back you can share parts with FJ/BJ/HZJ/HJ/73/74/75/76 77.

The front is the same a LJ/RJ/70/78

The LJ73 is not a common vehicle,It was replaced by the KZJ73 which has the 1KZ T engine and a rear half like yours. The front is like a Surf.

Got all that? Shocked

Is it one of these, nice looking truck?
Engine parts and some chassis consumables will be available from Milners 4x4 in Matlock. Filters etc from any motor factors.Engine is same as imported Surf if it's the 2LTE.
