Hi I have a 2005 lc5 cruiser which often sits lopsided. The garage told us today it was because the shock absorber had gone one side and quoted £1500 to replace both, rear shock absorbers. Does this sound right? It seems like a lot of money. He said that the shock absorbers can only be bought direct from Toyota and that they are £500 each.
Any help will be appreciated.

I would be checking the sensors first - they're known to fail

Don't know if this helps but I had a failed shock on the Amazon Milners supplied for around £140 and it cost £80 to have it fitted
