So......I did it!! I bought a 2004 LC4 Manual, and I love it.
I have driven it from the Uk to Spain, and it has been faultless.

However.......Last night, after about a 2 hour trip, the airbag light has appeared on the dash.

What do I need to do??

Thanks

Just further to this post.
Last night when the airbag light came on, my passenger reclined his seat right back.
I put the passenger seat back in a more upright position today, and then when on a decent run, and hey presto.....problem solved.
The relined position of the seat must be stretching either a wire, the sensor or pulling the connector slightly.....I'll have a look and get back to you.

High resistance plug under the seat; common to most modern cars with seat belt pre tensioners & or side airbags.

Gaffer tape & cable ties will stop it from straining when moving seats around.
Also, some times it helps to only move seats when ignition or engine not running; on my previous Nissan, my other half would trip the light by moving seat around. Drove me bananas!! "Bing bong"; giant airbag warning on infotainment screen. Annoying blinking light on the dash.  Evil or Very Mad

As previous, I reset computer, gaffer or duck taped plugs, and cable tied the wiring out of the way.

This happens on a lot of differing makes when a car is just bought.  The previous owners will not have moved the seats for several years, and the first time they're moved the cable gets a bit stretched - it was probably just a  bit 'stuck' in position.

It'll probably be fine again now.
