2007 100 series Amazon Landcruiser.
Trying to sort something out, have these annoying rattles. Seems to be coming from my front/rear pads area. Recently just changed discs and pads, anyone any ideas? Would appreciate to hear.
Thanks.

Have you fitted anti rattle springs and plates to the new setup. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

Check the middle box on your exhaust, mine had a counter weight which worked loose causing spurious rattles - good luck[code] |

I had this for about a year on my 1998 100 series after the first service. I kept taking it back and eventually they admitted that they had fitted something the wrong way around when changing the front pads. That was about 14 years ago so can't remember what it was - possibly shims. If a main Toyota dealer can make that mistake it must be easily done. When they put things in the eight way around it has been fine ever since.
I am assuming you have the same or similar issue. _________________ 1998 100 Series Land Cruiser Amazon VX 4.2 TD. Original owner. |
