Hi folks,

Has anyone ever 'deleted' the first small muffler/silencer from their system?

Its the first one after the braided bellows section at the downpipe.

I want to enhance the gorgeous sound of the turbo without increasing exhaust noise generally. Im not really into straight through systems but that blower is definitely not getting the voice it deserves! I think you know where im coming from....

I don't think it will make much difference. I run just that little one and a side exit, and it's a bit too loud, but not obnoxious.

Any restriction in the exhaust is not good and the turbo actually makes a good silencer, I doubt you would get much out of this mod.

regards

Dave

the huge middle box and the end box are a waste of time and weight! just the middle box must be 15kgs and 5kg of that is soot. I have a stainless system, just the one little box and side exit under running boards. At full throttle it is a bit loud but some exhaust braid can dampen sound and heat ..
