Here's a new one - when I switch on the hazard lights, nothing happens for 20 seconds; after that time, business as usual. Any ideas? _________________ peterB |

Thanks, as ever, Roger; the bulbs are the originals and what/where is the delay switch on a KZJ78?

I can't be specific for the 78 series as my manual doesn't cover it but you could try at the back of the glove box. If you remove the box and "feel" each relay you find whilst the flashers are working you should find the unit you want. You should check all the connections, specifically for high resistant.

Roger - I took off the steering wheel cover and blew a whole load of dust and rubbish out of the switch and now it works normally again! Thanks for the relay tip.
