So I've taken my heads off and they look the same.
About 15hours to take heads off....off to be refurbished.

Interestingly only the rear 4 cylinders have burnt valves...were yours the same?
Will post pics when the heads are back.

That was exactly the same on mine. Passenger side bank was ruined and not the driver side

That's weird....mine is different....the rear 4 cylinders have burned valves (2 nearest back of car) on each bank. The front 4 are fine!

How many miles has your engine done and is it LPG with a lube system?

Got a second lpg one with 250,000 and a lube system....that's fine.

to follow up on this, the heads were £250 each + vat (£500 for both) fully refurbished and look amazing, skimmed, cleaned, painted? etc, done by:-

Thanet Engine Centre  - CT11 0QZ

Took them about 2-3weeks, but worth the wait.
