Does anyone have experience of using a ROLLCO alternator?

I'm thinking of buying one of these....

...and would appreciate anyone with experience of using a ROLLCO alternator in any vehicle letting me know what they think of them.

Their web site looks ok. ISO 9001 is all about quality and is not easy to obtain.

I hadn't noticed that. Thanks for pointing it out.

In the end I went for this ROLLCO unit.... e bay

No problem fitting. It's a bit fatter than an 80 amp but went on without any problem except for the adjuster bracket that I knew would probably not fit. I got the adjuster bracket for a 120 amp from a 100 series. It was a perfect fit and in the end everything bolted straight up.

I also upgraded the cable from the alternator to the battery. One of the pictures shows the 120amp bracket sitting on top of the 80 amp bracket.

Unfortunately, two weeks after fitting this ROLLCO alternator it failed.

I got it bench tested and the result was "not charging".

The e bay seller has been great in communicating with me and has agreed a full refund.

So, the advice has to be - don't trust ROLLCO alternators.
