Hi Guys... need some help. On my Landcruiser Amazon.
When I turn the steering to the extreme left or right I hear a clank which sounds like metal against metal. This happens especially when turning extreme and going over a bump or pothole. My mechanic says that a rubber cap has worn out on a particular point. Here's the picture where the cap is supposed to be (circled in red) and the circle in green shows the place where it's hitting against.
He says the solution is just to grease this part... but the grease wears off in a week or so...
Does anyone know what this cap is and where I can get them from - or a part number, etc?
Oops - can't seem to attach an image. _________________ Landcruiser 100 Series Amazon 2004 (Ex. UK)

You are in the wrong section, you need to be in just the 100 series (if it is a 100) _________________ 2004 Amazon 100 series
