Well, for what its worth, gave up on my electronic hubs and read on youtube that a guy had just simply changed outer shaft and manual hub from a Hi lux......tried it today, doesn't work, you need to change the cv carrier as well by the look of it. In the meantime, I have fitted my L71   with new front callipers and discs, so now I have to ask myself, will they fit around the conversion or not.....so I have the HI Lux drive shats withcv and outer shaft, have just rung up for the cv carriers which are available, but the guy can't tell me whether the steering arm position is the same on the carrier, or whether the discs and callipers are the same on both vehicles, anyone out there whop has a step by step guide on this conversion with parts required, have already got the HiLux gasket, bearing and seal kit for the Hi Lux plus new manual hubs, but how far do I go before I find it is all too much ??/
