Hi Guys

Have any of you found replacement glass only for side mirror? I suppose i could cut something out and bond it to the back plate. Some ignorant individual whacked the mirror hard as they passed my parked vehicle. The housing and electrical side is fine but the glass smashed to bits.

Thanks

Peter

Just an update I bought these: http://www.e bay.co.uk/itm/390932189898?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

They are designed to stick on top of a damaged glass but mine had fallen right off. I took off the mirror holder (one screw thro' hole in bottom of housing. I found with care I could push the new mirror into the edge at one end and gradually work the rest of the  edges into place with a small screw drive. The glue backing appears to stick well to the black plastic and although not an absolutely perfect fit it will do me.
I also found that the cause of the rattle was a broken top eye that hooks over a lug. I found a piece of thin plastic packaging with an eye from a drill bit and cut and self tapped to the damaged eye to make a crude repair. It seems to work.
