yeah, mines driving me mad as well.i`ve been told by my local dealer that i need to take out the drivers side front inner wheel arch, but theyre not certain.whats the big secret?i`m so fed up with waiting for it to go off at 4am or leave it unlocked that i`m having it disconnected and a real one put on tomm.just imagine sleeping through the night and not getting prodded with sticks by the neighbours

just had an alarm bloke look at the wagon.the sensor is indeed under the gearshift console.it appears it is a cobra cat 1 system but with toyota printed on it.it is adjustable and you can even disconnect the internal pressure sensor and leave the doors etc on.
i`ll let you know iff i get a full nights sleep!

How do you sleep?
Mine has gone off 3 times in 6 years.
1 : Micro plastic hand-started "helicopter" flew into side window.
2 : Fighter plane low overhead (I$raeli, in ME)
3 : Thunder _________________ 2004 HDJ100 AHC Auto 160'km, ex 2000 HDJ100, ex 1997 HZJ80GX Africa edition. |

Have been getting not bad sleep.just done 9500 miles upto arctic circle and down to crimea and back in 6 weeks, sleeping on roof in a tent.turned the censor right down and its only gone off 9 times.and that wasnt with us on top.it seems to be pressure sensitive between 3-4ish am.well at least that still works, unlike our suspension which poland finished off. |
