Hello everybody,

Just got one of these and sadly the clutch is slipping so I guess I need a new one!!! How difficult is it to remove the manual gearbox and change the clutch? is it a long job?

Any help, tips and advice would be most welcome,

Many Thanks

G/box and transfer box come out together. They have a combined weight of about 285 lbs. A g/box cradle on a garage quality jack are, in my opinion, essential. You will need to get the motor at least 18" of the ground, preferably at both ends, to obtain sufficient clearance to get the gearbox out from under the chassis rails. This will also give you more room to work under the motor.

It's not brain surgery but you will require body strength to maul the various parts about.
