hi guys!
I have a '99 land cruiser v8 that i have some issue with. Suddenly the VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, ABS and BRAKE lights came on. And ofcourse no brakes. I do have brakes, but they are realy weak. I mean the brake pedal is hard, but bearly stops the car. No fluid is leaking, the brake fluid reservoir is still on maximum.
if anyone have any idea what could this be, please help me out on this one. I apreciate it!!! |

Servo is mechanical, its the big donut shape thing behind the reservoir, either the vac hose has fallen off or leaking or the diaphram is broken. |

well, i wish it was tha easy. does not ha have the big donut behind the reservoir. it's all elecrical. after hours of surch on forums, i started diging deeper in the brake system. mine is all electric. the booster and all that. so the abs actuator is bad. the little compressor motor.... failt. i was looking for one online, and i spent a few hours on the phone, calling salvage yards and used parts, and import parts store.... ended up ordering one from dealer. $1300.
thanks for ur help though |
