Hi all, i have a uk vx 96 4.2 24v
I decided to Charge the batteries and took both of them out. They're both charged, i refitted them, and now the lc wont start. i'm getting flashing hazards and when i turn the key nothing happens, except the hazards will come on again if they're off. I have no fob, never got one with the vehicle. all i have is a little security key which can turn a lock on the alarm speaker on the passenger side footwell. i dont know if this does anything, except turning on a very annoying audible alarm.
i presume i have the t5000 scorpion immobilizer? any help appreciated. |

Do a search here for T5000 and you will see a thread written initially by me. I don't know what the current situation is, but I suspect it's worse than when I wrote it. Basically, removing power immobilizes starting, and the best option is to strip it out and start again. |
