The damage was mass electrical faults caused by the use of a Jet wash whilst the carpets were in situ.

With the fuses being where they are, this has proved to be catastrophic

The damage Nickj was "major flood damage" and the insurance company classed it as a "Cat 2 Write Off" so couldn't buy it back.

The engineer said "if it had 10 miles on the clock I would have wrote it off mate"

I don't doubt what's happened ....but it is a bit disconcerting that a LANDCRUISER is written off after getting a little bit wet. I mean the car wasn't immersed in water or flooded etc. It was "washed" albeit very badly and stupidly. I mean, did they jetwash the dashboard?  Confused

Does that mean that if you wade using a 100 and you get a little water ingress into the interior, you might face similar consequences?  

I'm still very surprised at the outcome of this....!!!!  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

I think you're right Andy because everything is working again now apart from trying to dry the floor out and yes Vagabond they must have done.
