Hello. I have a 93 Prado SX 3.0 with the 1KZ-TE engine and am looking for some help advice on the easiest way to remove the starter motor. I've found a kit on RoughTrax4x4 so any thoughts on that would also be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time. |

Not sure about the Prado, but on the Hilux Surf it is easier to get to it via the near side wheel arch. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser

Andy, as usual, is right! You will find it easier if you remove the fibre spray shield; be prepared for a bit of cursing, but it can be done relatively easily.
